Biography

Kristine Kostandyan is the owner and provider of Kids’ Fantasy Child Care. Kristine has earned her degree of Associate in Arts from Los Angeles City College in 2007 and the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Liberal Studies) from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2010. She is actively involved in Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) program and part of the Early Care and Education Workforce Registry which is an ongoing training for early child development educators. She is also a member of NAEYC and CAEYC where she attends conferences and gathers information about the latest policies, resources, theories, and ideas to share and utilize in her child care. Kristine started volunteering at her mother’s child care at the age of 14 but has officially worked with children since 2006. She started working as a teacher’s assistant in elementary public schools for about 4 years while attending school. She then continued her employment at her mother’s child care (Kostandyan Child Care) start of 2010. After an interest stroke Kristine to work with younger children, she decided to go back to school in 2014 and earn her child development units and obtain Site Supervisor Permit through the Commission on Teacher Credentialing while working at Kostandyan Family Child Care. In 2017, Kristine’s interest in special education drove her to work as a Registered Behavior Technician for Inizio Interventions Inc. providing ABA therapy for children with special needs for 3 years.   Since January of 2019, Kristine decided it was time to create her own vision and operate her own child care when she applied for in-home family child care license. Now she is ready to serve her community as a licensed provider of Kids’ Fantasy Family Child Care.
